The Camelback Inn, Scottsdale, Arizona

Here are some pictures of our hotel in Scottsdale Arizona.

It has been a constant 115°F or more since we arrived and the pool is as hot as the air temperature.

Lots of fluids have been drunk (alcoholic and otherwise) and general R&R has been the order of the day.

The gardens in the hotel are really lovely and are very typical of Arizona plants and cactus found in the surrounding desert.

The hotel is really first class - when you arrive at the pool, your towel is laid out on your bed for you. Huge pint glasses of iced lemon flavoured water are brought around at 15 minute intervals. Frozen grapes and strawberries arrive at frequent intervals and all in all it is a lazy man's (or woman's) paradise.

Just got up long enough to write this blog - so need to get back to the pool tonight for the "Dive In Movie" where they show a movie by the pool on a 60 foot screen.

Then follow that by watching the stars while lying on my back on the floating beds in the pool ( its open 24 hours!)

Golf tomorrow and spa treatments for the ladies....
