Well today we left Nice and the French Riviera and flew to Venice on a Swiss airline called BABOO.
Never heard of them before researching how to get from Nice to Venice - but they were surprisingly good and very cheap (less than 1/3rd of the cost of a train ticket!)
Good to know if you ever have occasion to take a similar trip.
So our last morning in "Monte" (as we residents call it) and woke up to another beautiful day as you can see from this picture taken just after dawn.
So we bid France "au revoir" and say "buongiorno" to Italy and the delights of Venice.
