Continuing on from our weekend in Ayr with family and friends over the weekend, Carolyn and I spent our actual anniversary day (19th & 20th August) with an overnight stay at The Turnberry Hotel.
The weather was really great and seemed to be about the only place in Scotland that day that was not being flooded out with rain storms.
On Wednesday morning we took a long walk along the beach to the famous landmark lighthouse as you can see from these pictures
Douglas, Eric and I played the famous Turnberry course on Sunday morning and after the previous nights celebrations the windy conditions certainly cleared our heads. However not wishing to be outdone, Carolyn decided to beat me first at putting on the banks outside the hotel frontage - and then at "pitch and putt" down at the bottom of the gardens.
As you can see below she has perfected a very unique and successful swing - especially out of the bunker.
